This module focuses primarily on providing knowledge on the importance of front office operations and yield management. It guides the student through the different elements of yield management and front office operations. It also provides an outlook on the important factors that have an effect on the function of front office.
The theory discussed will help individuals such as senior managers, managers, executives and any individual requiring a thorough knowledge on yield management in front office operations.

It guides the student through the different elements of facilities management and also provides knowledge on facilities operations. Students are able to gain a comprehensive knowledge on issues faced in facilities management, how to overcome them, health and safety facilities as well as terms and qualities related to facilities management.

It would help enable students to grasp how housekeeping and accommodation operation standards can be used to make their hospitality and tourism business safe and beautiful. Students are able to gain a comprehensive knowledge on different departments related, their purpose and roles as well as safety and environmental concerns related to the function of a hotel.

Project management is a process of planning, organising and managing resources to achieve defined goals. A project is a defined process with pre-determined beginning and end. Usually, projects face time and funding constraints. Organisations undertake projects to achieve specific goals and aims. Projects usually bring changes or add value to an organisation. Change management focuses on the ways to adapt to change, controlling change and effecting change. Change management also means defining and implementing procedures and/or technologies to deal with changes in the business environment and to profit from changing opportunities.
